Orca Bay Seafoods, Inc. has announced that it is entering into a joint venture partnership with Chun Cheng Fishery Fishery Pte Ltd., one of Singapore’s leading processors, exporters and distributors of frozen tuna, swordfish and related species worldwide. Historically the two companies have enjoyed a successful relationship, with Orca Bay sourcing products from Chun Cheng for a broad range of retail and foodservice customers for over 10 years. This partnership serves to enhance and further that relationship, designating Orca Bay as their exclusive portal for Chun Cheng products and the North American market.
In merging the well established procurement and processing strengths of Chun Cheng with the dynamic marketing and distribution channels of Orca Bay, customers will be afforded more streamlined access to what is recognized as a limited resource. “Being like-minded in the areas of quality and food safety makes this an ideal fit”, notes Orca Bay CEO and President Ryan Mackey.
