Adding attractive product photos, imaginative recipes, and information driving consumers to a revamped web site, seafood processing leader Orca Bay Foods is introducing new innovative packaging for its retail line.
Additionally, Orca Bay’s website, www.orcabayfoods.com, will be completely redesigned to coincide with the packaging introduction. Each will be ready for the Boston Seafood Show in March.
Orca Bay’s retail line includes Alaskan Cod, Flounder, Alaskan Halibut, Alaskan Keta Salmon, Mahi Mahi, Mixed Grill (Alaskan Keta Salmon, Alaskan Halibut, Swordfish), Orange Roughy, Pacific Ocean Perch, Sea Bass, Sole, Swordfish, Tilapia, and Yellowfin Tuna.
The new packaging encourages the uninitiated to discover the passion for quality and freshness that many already recognize in Orca Bay. Thawing instructions, a clear “window” on the product and the trademark Easy Peel vacuum seal are still present, but virtually everything else about the package has changed.
Crisp photos are displayed in a new color design on the front of the package. Purchasers will receive a tasty, easy to prepare recipe right on the package and be encouraged to view more Orca Bay’s recipes posted at www.orcabayfoods.com.
“Consumers have grown to trust the Orca Bay brand and our new bags will help attract more people to our frozen display,” said Mark Tupper, Orca Bay Foods National Sales Manager. “The quality in our packages will get them to buy it again and again.
“We’re excited to offer our retailers packaging enhancements that are sure to move additional product.”
