Just a quick note to advise that some of those sturdy Alaskan King Crab
legs from Orca Bay Seafoods have made it all the way down from Renton,
Washington, to Christchurch, New Zealand – a distance of 7441 miles.
Sadly for them, their journey will end tomorrow at a barbeque where
they will sit alongside locally caught crayfish which will no doubt be
put to shame. I thought you might be interested to know that your
product is enjoyed so far from the (sometimes) grey skies of Seattle,
having been purchased in a 16oz pack from City Seafood Market, 177
Manchester St, Christchurch, New Zealand. I miss many aspects of
Seattle, but none more so than succulent Alaskan King Crab, fresh
halibut, Alaskan salmon, Belon (European Flat) oysters, and Mahi Mahi
steaks. Of course, New Zealand produces some exquisite seafood of its
own but you always long for what you cannot have, don’t you? Now, at
least, thanks to Orca Bay Seafoods, I can close my eyes and savour Seattle.
