Name the Orca Bay Whale Contest
Orca Bay has been proud to use the Orca as a symbol of our commitment to
producing top quality seafood and delivering outstanding service to our loyal
customers over the last 25 years. While
we all have our own nicknames for our mascot (some not suitable for
publication), the Orca Bay Orca doesn’t have an official name. That’s all about
to change.
Visit our blog and submit an entry! It’s simple, just head to http://spyhop.orcabayseafoods.com/name-the-whale/ and submit your best name! You can enter as many times
as you want, but only one entry will be eligible to be entered into the voting.
All entries should be entered by March 31, 2011 with voting to proceed directly after that with the top names as picked by our staff.
The winning name with the most votes will win an Orca Bay Seafoods gift pack worth up to $500 (USD) in the highest quality seafood we have to offer! The second most votes will win an Orca Bay Seafoods gift pack worth up to $250 (USD) and the third most votes will win an Orca Bay Seafoods gift pack worth up to $100 (USD)That’s a total of $850!
In addition to winning excellent seafood, we’ll be donating $1,000 to the Center of Whale Research on behalf of the winners name! Visit them at http://www.whaleresearch.com for more details on how they help our local Orca population.

The sweepstakes: From February 17, 2011 through March 31, 2011, Orca Bay Seafoods, Inc. will promote, by means of Facebook, Twitter and OrcaBaySeafoods.com the opportunity to submit entries to win the grand prize as detailed below.
Eligibility: In order to submit entries:
All participants must love to eat Orca Bay Seafoods products
All participants must be at least 18 years of
age or older to compete.
All participants must provide their full name, email address and entry in order
to compete.
All participants must acknowledge that all names submitted do not violate any
copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights.
How to enter: (I) Visit http://spyhop.orcabayseafoods.com/name-the-whale/ and submit your entry with a valid email address by 11:59PM March 31, 2011.
All names submitted to Orca Bay Seafoods, Inc. are compliant with the rules above. The submitter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Orca Bay Seafoods, Inc. its employees, officers, directors and/or affiliates from any claims, causes of action, damages or liabilities resulting from a violation of the above rules. This indemnity shall include, but not be limited to attorney’s fees and costs. All material submitted to Orca Bay shall become the property of Orca Bay. If a name is submitted multiple times, only the first entry will be valid and verified via the comment time stamp.
How to win: All qualified entries will be reviewed and a winner will be voted on ending on April 15, 2011. In the event that the original winner does not meet Official Rules or eligibility requirements, or he/she or parent or legal guardian forfeits the Prize, Orca Bay Seafoods, Inc. will award prize to first alternate. Process will continue until Prize is awarded.
