King Crab Chowder

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of Orca Bay King Crab Meat
  • ½ cup diced Onion
  • 1 cup diced Potato
  • ½ cup of chopped leek
  • ¼ cup of chopped Parsley
  • ½ cup of heavy cream
  • 1 cup of whole milk
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon grape seed oil or vegetable oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. In a medium sauce pan, heat oil and sauté’ onion, potato, and leek over medium heat for about 5 minutes. Sprinkle pinch of salt.
  2. Pour chicken broth and bring it to a boil.
  3. Stir in cream and milk; simmer for about 15 minutes more.
  4. Fold in crab meat and season it with salt and pepper.
